My Ireland Tour have been helping visitors to discover their Irish heritage for over twenty-five years. Their genealogy tours of Ireland offer the perhaps the best example of this, where people who have researched their Irish roots can have the My Ireland Tour team work with them to customize a tour which is tailor-made to their specification and family heritage. Recently, the staff have gone back to their own Irish roots, with a living history project which takes iconic images of Cork and recreates those same scenes today. They have called it Ireland Then and Now

Do you want to research your Irish roots in Cork?  You can plan family Ireland tours and see the home of your ancestors.  Ireland vacations are a great way to research your Irish heritage, and an Ireland golf tour is the perfect activity to bring your family together.

Kate Press: Wolfe/Woulfe/Nash Family and Cork Reference Material Check out this wonderful site by Kate Press!  Kate and her family have been researching Munster, especially West Limerick and co Cork for over 50 years.  Kate and her co-author, Valerie Thompson, have published a book, entitled "West Limerick Families Abroad."   A great 'introduction for 'all undertaking Irish research.'  It contains a slew of material and is a 'reference for immigrant and convict ancestors'
Some of the information that can be obtained at Kate's site:
Wolfe Surname in Ireland;  The Siege of Limerick;  Vickery's Inn Bantry;  The 1st Lord of Derreen;  Slater's Directory, 1856;  Cork Evening Post1794;  Flax Growers List 1796;  Cork Marriage License Bonds;  1901 Census Dereen Co Cork;  Cork & Ross Wills;  Newspapers entries 1763-1830;  Tithe Defaulters-Ballymoney;  Ancestry and History of Major General Wolfe;  Co and City of Cork General Directory;  British Military Barracks in Co Cork;  Cromwellian Settlement of Ireland.

This is the first of the two sites where I got my start
